    你知道日常看到的陶器所用的陶土從哪裡來嗎?你又有沒有想過地盤挖出來的泥土經過回收處理後可以用來做陶?近年積極研究和開拓將地盤廢土在陶瓷和夯土技術當中循環再造可能的「香港土磚 Hong Kong Soil」團隊將會在工作坊帶大家以香港泥做「一屋香座」/「屋仔香座」(塔香香爐)。一同探索物料的可能性,學習以泥板造型,用不同工具壓圖案、開孔等,自己動手起陶屋!

    備註:參加者在工作坊當日完成的作品,會由導師隨後為其加工,預計加工工序將於8月底前完成。「設計光譜」將另行通知參加者領取完成作品的安排。

    Do you know where are the clay in the ceramics we see in daily life come from? Have you ever thought if the soil dig up at construction sites could be recycled and used for ceramic after treatment? ‘Hong Kong Soil’ Team, whose members are actively advocating the purposeful reuse of discarded soil in construction in recent years, will introduce in the workshop and work with the participants to make use of Hong Kong soil creating their unique ‘incense house’ (incense burner for tower incense). Join us to explore the possibility of materials and experience making clay tablets with different tools to build your own ceramic houses!

    Remarks: The instructor will further process the works made by the participants during the workshop, expect to be finished by late August. Design Spectrum will contact the participants individually for the arrangement to collect the finished works.

    導師簡介

    About the Instructor

    梁康勤,產品設計師,透明未來設計創辦人,熱衷於物料研究和空間想像。2011年畢業於荷蘭燕豪芬設計學院,及後在當地陶瓷廠 Royal Tichelaar Makkum 工作。直到2015年回港定居,在香港兆基創意書院兼職任教視覺藝術、空間研習及設計課程。她喜歡旅居,曾於中國、芬蘭、荷蘭及日本作藝術駐場。2017年獲 DFA 香港青年設計才俊獎*,2023年與 BeCandle 以'OUR LAND'獲 DFA 亞洲最具影響力設計獎*金獎。

    梁康勤的設計關注環保議題,擅長以造型、物料與空間的呈現,串聯藝術、設計、建築和回收。2021年她共同創立「香港土磚」,回收地盤廢土,研究和開拓將它在陶瓷和夯土技術當中循環再造的種種可能。

    Niko Leung is a product designer working across form, surface and space to tie among art, design, architecture and recycling. Niko received her bachelor’s degree in design from Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands, worked at ceramics manufacturing company Royal Tichelaar Makkum. Upon her return to Hong Kong, she was a visual art and design tutor at Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity in Hong Kong.

    Niko was a resident artist in Jingdezhen (CN), Fiskars (FI), Den Bosch (NL) and Arita (JP). She was awarded DFA Young Design Talent Award* in 2017, and her project OUR LAND with BeCandle was awarded DFA *Gold Award in 2023.

    Her experience of studying and working in the Netherlands inspired her keen interest in re-examining materials and the way we make use of them. Niko founded TMML Studio in 2020, co-created 'Hong Kong Soil' to advocate purposeful reuse of discarded soil in construction.
