About this event

Did you know that there are only 4,697 Africans living in Hong Kong according to our 2021 census? That's 0.000633%! The revival of the African Students' Night will be an important platform gathering all students from the continent. It'll be a chill evening of fun, dancing and games, including ice-breakers and a short orientation to introduce a list of resources for students new to Hong Kong. Come join us!

Frequently asked questions

What food options will there be?

We will provide free flow pan-African snacks (e.g. Mandazi, puff puff, falafel) and non-alcoholic drinks to come with your entry ticket. Adds on may be purchased at the center.

What activities will be included?

We have djembe, board games, speakers, a projector, a microphone system and more. While we've included ice-breaker activities, we encourage participants to mingle around while making the best use of what we have at the center.

Who can attend?

The goal of the event is to gather African students in Hong Kong but non-Africans can also attend.

Do I have to stay the entire period?

If you have plans before or after or need to bounce off to Lan Kwai Fong, you can most definitely still join us anytime! Feel free to arrive earlier; we'll formally start at 7pm.
