Background - Community Legal Education Month 2024

We’re partnering with Charles Russell Speechlys, DLA Piper, Fairbairn Catley Lo & Kong, and Hugill & Ip to bring you up to speed on the most recent developments in the community legal access space in Hong Kong.

We’ll be covering the legal topics that we, pro bono lawyers, and charity caseworkers work on every day. These are the laws that matter greatly in the lives of everyday people in Hong Kong: Divorce, Personal Data, Landlord & Tenant, Technology Scams, Immigration, and Domestic Violence.

We look forward to seeing you!

Equal Justice 平義社 is an award-winning, Hong Kong charity that launched in mid-2020 to respond to increasing calls for free legal information and support by disadvantaged people facing legal problems and who did not know where to go - as well to calls from the social welfare charities supporting them. In 4+ years, and thanks to the support of many people, we've helped 2,000 people to resolve their legal problems, launched 1 forum, 2 digital innovation platforms and provided free legal education to over 1,000 attendees. #NeverOurWorkAlone #SDG16.3 #ReduceHardship #MoreEqualAccessToJustice
