In this series, Teacher Martin will discuss the role of parents as their child encounters various changes and challenges at different stages of their development.

Cost is $800 for all 5 sessions, or $170 per session for IWS parents & IWTT students, $210 per session for Non-IWS parents. Upon ticket purchase, you can attend the evening talk in person and receive an audio recording which you can listen to at your own time. IWS parents & IWTT students can also attend follow-up discussion where you can ask pertinent questions to your situation and meet other parents to share stories with.


About the Speaker:
Originally from Chicago, USA, Martin Schmandt worked as a class teacher in two Waldorf schools in the USA and UK for over 20 years. In the recent decade, he has also started mentoring Waldorf teachers in various countries. In addition to teaching, he is passionate and experienced about working with teachers and adults in art.

He joined IWS in 2022 as Education Coordinator, a role in which he supports and coordinates the development of pedagogical excellence throughout the entire school.

Yes. Please ensure you provide us with your email address or mobile no. in your Eventbrite registration. An audio recording of the talk(s) will be sent to you via WhatsApp or email subsequent to the talk.

2. Can I still sign up for the audio recording of any talk afterwards?

3. I cannot come to the follow up Q&A discussion. Will there be recording of the Q&A discussion?

Sorry, there will not be any recording of the Q&A discussion. You are welcomed to reach out to Teacher Martin directly if you have any questions relating to the talk.
