Join us for an inspiring experience that blends the rich traditions of sake with the idea of sustainable tourism. This workshop, "Sake Tasting & Sustainable Tourism," invites participants to explore the fascinating origins and stories behind sake, while also delving into how tourism can align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

What to Expect:

• Experience a guided tasting featuring 6 exquisite sakes, each with a unique story and flavor profile. Gain insights into the tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and the nuances of flavor that different types of sake offer.
• Sake Origins and Story: Discover the history of sake, its cultural significance in Japan, and the craftsmanship involved in its production. Learn about the unique ingredients and techniques that make each sake distinct.
• Sustainable Tourism and SDGs: Sharing & discussion about sustainable tourism practices and how they contribute to the SDGs. Take Kyoto as an example, understand the impact of tourism on local communities and ecosystems, and explore ways to enjoy a sustainable travelling experience.
• Personal Sustainable Travel plan : At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will develop a personal action plan for incorporating sustainable practices in travel habits. Leave with actionable steps to support a more sustainable future.

The session will be conducted in English supplemented by Cantonese.
