His most recent book, a medieval heist novel for adults, is Nicked. He lives in New England.

Description:

New York Times best-selling author M. T. Anderson will talk about the bizarre and fascinating true story behind his new novel, Nicked. In reality, two rival Italian cities raced to steal the corpse of St. Nicholas (Santa Claus) from his tomb in what is now southern Turkey. Anderson will talk about the evidence for this peculiar heist, the details of the theft, the role it played in Mediterranean geopolitics, and how and why he turned it into a swashbuckling monastic romantic comedy.
