Recent years have seen Chinese wine gain market share rapidly. It is superior in taste and quality to its rivals in the Old and New Worlds, and it is also more affordable.

We will be tasting 8 wines from two prominent Chinese regions: Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang (near Kazakhstan) where indigenous grape varieties have been discovered. Wines made from international grapes, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling, are characterized by their different personalities due to extreme climates and terroir. Moreover, they are made by Chinese winemakers with diverse intellectual backgrounds.

Snacks will be provided during the tasting. Keep your palate sharp.
