Timebanking UK

Timebanking UK uses time as a currency to empower communities. In a time bank, people exchange their skills, passions, and time to create a web of mutual support.

For each hour a person gives, they “bank” an hour for themselves to spend when they need help in return. To date over 6,660,142 hours have been exchanged bringing benefits across society. Timebanking UK has been delivering this impact for over 20 years. Alongside the national network of grassroot time banks, Timebanking UK is backing the heart of communities, fostering collaboration, and building a legacy of social impact.

We deliver a wide range of specialised training providing our members with all the skills they need to successfully build and run a time bank. To take part in most of our sessions you must be a member - if you have not yet taken up membership please visit our website for further information.

We also offer sessions such as "Introduction to Timebanking" and "Authentic Community Impact" which are more suited if you have not yet joined the timebanking family.
